I discovered "Anti-jokes" this week, and I have to admit, I LOVE them. The teens in my Tuesday evening adolescent program told me about them. Here is the first one I was told:

What is worse than finding a worm in your apple?
The holocaust.

Here are a couple more:

Roses are Red,
Violets are Blue,
I have a gun.
Get in the van.

Roses are blue.
Violets are unicorn.
This makes no sense.

What's green and has wheels?
Grass. I lied about the wheels.

Roses are brown,
Violets are brown,
Who crapped in my garden?

If someone could explain to me why I love these so much, I would appreciate it!

  1. Crap Shan, I just posted a blog entry and discovered THIS one! Our entries were only a few minutes apart. Now I look like a blog-hog who's trying to shove your stuff beneath mine. LOL.

  2. Haha! I realized that too! And now it looks like I am congratulating you for getting sloshed instead of getting that summer job. :)

  3. Oh and I LOVE those anti-jokes. I was laughing myself silly. They are just so terribly un-funny that its ridiculous. It's like a dog so ugly that it's cute.

Thanks for your comment!
